JUNE 2010 NEWSLETTER:
This is a summer “mini” newsletter as I know we’re all busy this time of year!
We are still looking for somewhere to shoot indoors next winter. We’ve move all our stuff from the Elks building and need a new winter indoor shooting range. So far, we haven’t come up with any new places. Any ideas? Let us know.
Fishhook Ranch Shoot: The Fishhook Ranch Shoot was held May 15 & 16, 2010. We had about 150 shooters during the 2 days. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Neff family for their generosity in allowing us to use their property. They also donated a bird hunt for us to raffle. A big thank you to them! Club member, Dave Pemberton was the lucky winner of the bird hunt – congratulations Dave! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with set up, registration, tear down, etc. Lots of hands made the workload easier all around, so… THANK YOU! We heard many positive comments and everyone seemed to have a good time. The weather cooperated this year and we had a beautiful weekend with no rain and moderate heat. Results are on the website.
Summer Picnic: Our annual picnic will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the outdoor range. Don’t miss this fun event – there will be great food, a mini-shoot, prizes, water fights……and on and on. A copy of the flyer is attached. SEE YOU THERE!!
