Another great Member Appreciation banquet, with a great turn out for all members. The food was excellent, outstanding company, and another opportunity to reward those who have dedicated their time to help maintain the club. Part of this banquet, is the election of new officers. I would like to take this opportunity to Thank those who served this previous year, ensuring those of us coming in for the new year have a smooth transition.
Your new officers are looking forward to learning and helping the Walla Walla Blue Mountain Archers continue their growth, and would like all members to know that we strongly support the Open Door Policy. Please don’t hesitate to send emails with question, suggestions, or concerns. You are also welcome to call me if you need to chat one on one. It takes each one of you to keep this club going.
With our newly elected officers we are confident that we can pull off another successful year for Walla Walla Blue Mountain Archers.
CONGRATULATIONS to Courtney Brown and Tina Riedel each winning a new bow during the drawing at the Members Appreciation Banquet. Thank you for voluteering your time to the club.
Upcoming Events
Game Awards Banquet
Our annual Game Awards banquet will be February 4, 2012, with Social gathering to begin at 5 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm. This will be held at the Walla Walla Elks Lodge, 6 W Rose, Walla Walla, Wa 99362. In addition to a live auction, we will also have a silent auction, plus lots of raffles, prizes, game, awards, ect. It will be a fun event for the whole family! We need all HARVEST REPORTS and RSVP’s no later than January 16, 2012 so we can have a head count for the meal, you cant get your game award if you don’t send in your harvest report. Tickets will be $20 per adult and $5 for kids under 12 and will include a buffet style meal catered by Marty Bray of “A Chefs Creation” As always, it will be a great meal! Registration Form and Harvest Reports can be found in the “Forms” section of our website!
Tucannon Shoot
The Tucannon shoot is March 17-18, 2012. We are going to need all the volunteers we can get for setup, running and take down. We will be setting up on Friday the 16th. We will gladly accept any help with registration both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, after 3 pm we will be tearing down and reloading the trailer. Please show up and help. Please contact one of us if you are will to volunteer to help us out. The more help we have the less work there is for us all. If you can help even for an hour or two, plesae let us know.
Dues Are Due!
Don’t miss out on all the fun, news, camaraderie, awards, prizes and the rest of the benefits of belonging to The Blue Mountain Archers. If you haven’t paid your 2012 dues, please send a check, along with the form to our post office box. Dues are due by March 31, 2012. If you would prefer to use a credit card, please call Carrie Rogers at 509-301-2660 to make your payment. Members who have not paid by that date will not be able to partake of club benefits, i.e. the outdoor and indoor ranges, receive newsletters, the annual picnic, etc. DON’T MISS OUT, RENEW TODAY!

Club Merchandise: We’re in the process of taking inventory for club merchandise we have in stock and will be placing an order soon. Please take a look at the merchandise on the website or at Steve’s Archery and place an order! We have some great jackets and sweatshirts, vests, caps, etc. Including new this year ~ Camo Beanie hats!
