Scoring Breakdown/Double Scoring shot (Double trouble shoot only)

​Individual Shoot Themes and Rules


1. From the Stake- this shoot is from the stakes on the course based on age and discipline. (Stake layout referred to as BMA stakes)

2. Double Shot- you get to shoot twice, once at the main target and your second shoot is at the scoring diagram. All shots are from BMA stakes and all scoring is standard, main target 5’s,8’s,10’s & 11’s, second shot at the scoring Diagram is 8’s,10’s, & 11’s General League Description To keep it fair for the main prize at the end.

3.Patriot Games- this shoot is based on the quote from the movie “Aim small, Miss small” meaning, no 5 point scoring, only 8’s,10’s,& 11’s All shots are from BMA stakes

4. Double Trouble- shooters choice, standard scoring if you decide to shoot the main target. If you are feeling confident shoot for scoring Diagram in the lower right hand portion of the target. (Double Scoring is based on 8’s,10’s,& 11’s only, NO 12’s or 14’s. Write in the double score if you make the shot on the roughly 1/2 to 1/3 size scoring breakdown). All shots are from BMA stakes

5. Beyond the Stake- our Range Master is going to make it more challenging and place a stake with ribbon tied to it further away and possibly to the side from the adult compound stake. All other disciplines move back 1 stake. (All scoring breakdowns stay the same 5’s,8’s,10’s,& 11’s)

6. Mini Morrell Bullseye - All targets will have a mini target in the O of the MORELLE  target. That will how you earn a score. The amount will be 25 per bullseye you hit.

7. League Leader's choice - Who ever is the League leader at the start of this shoot gets to choose what theme the shoot will be. We will use the theme rules from there choice.

This year we will be taking the top 7 scores out of the 9 for your overall score total. To balance it out a bit for those that may have had something come up more important than the archery league. Super League shoot will be held on Wednesdays from 4:45 to 30 mins before dark Exact prizes to be announced, Plaque/Trophy for  1st, 2nd, 3rd overall 1st place overall and 1st place in the kids division (12 & under) takes home a premium prize For each of the 9 shoots Prizes go to the top score, random adult scorecard, random kids scorecard

Scoring 

We have 16 targets on our outdoor course each target has a scoring break down. Shoot the entire course and total your points at the end. We will keep track of your point accumulation of points over the 9 shoots.  Your total score is how you place among the other shooters. We will have different themes and games during these 9 shoots to help keep thing interesting.

Prizes:

We will have trophies for 1st- 3rd place.

General Rules


1. League shoot times 4:45 pm till 30 min before dark 

2. Range finders are allowed 

3. Arrows must be touching the score line in order to count the score.

4. Double Trouble and the Double shoot theme. On all of the targets there is a smaller scoring brake down ( see pictures below). If you hit the smaller scoring break down your points for that target double. You must designate if you are shooting for normal points or double points prior to taking your shot. If you don't hit the double point target you count that as a zero.
